About Ashland Christian Health Care
The Ashland Christian Health Center (ACHC) opened its doors on August 16, 2003 as an outreach ministry of the churches of Ashland County to provide holistic health care for the uninsured or under-insured individuals of Ashland County. ACHA is staffed by volunteers who are committed to taking care of the whole person just as Jesus did.
The purpose of Ashland Christian Health Center (ACHC) is to:
- provide primary health care
- provide high quality, affordable services which will promote spiritual, mental, social, and physical health
- allow those who receive care through ACHC to identify their gifts and talents to serve others in the community
- accept this community service as compensation for services received
- enable neighbors to health one another, and
- work cooperatively with existing community resources.
Vision Statement
All residents of Ashland County will have access to primary health care.
Mission Statement
The Ashland Christian Health Center exists to holistically care for and elevate the dignity of Ashland County residents who are uninsured or under-insured, in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
